Censorship resistance

I’ve read the documentation and watched your talk (it’s really good, thanks btw), but still having some questions regarding how well Aether will stand up against censorship.

It feels like an authority can just open up Aether to discover the participants in the network, and thus learning their identities; is this the case? The doc does seem to suggest otherwise though:

Aether can offer you more privacy than any centralised service, since your posts are not tied to your IP address, and can’t (easily) be traced back to you. There is no one to track you like a centralised service can.
